Born in California in 1965, Tommy studied art history at Santa Monica College in California, with additional coursework in architecture and interior design. Over the years, Tommy became an upscale interior designer, designing projects for Hollywood elite.

It was only over the last few years that the need to evolve as an artist emerged and, once again, Tommy found himself in unfamiliar territory — as a painter. Pop artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Robert Mars always influenced him when creating. Growing up in California exposed Tommy to the Mexican culture and vibrant colors. He started using recycled wood and other materials, forging for his own path as a painter.

Tommy delivers a nostalgic but authentic feeling. The combination of colors, materials, and subjects give us a genuine sense of the reminiscence of early pop culture.
