Tariel was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1971. His father was an artist and art teacher at the Academy of Arts.

He graduated from the art studio at the Tbilisi Artist House and the Nikoladze Art High School. He underwent training at different workshops for painting and sculpture at the Georgian Academy of Arts, and worked in restoration of ancient architectural monuments.

In 1998, Tariel moved to Israel and worked in Frank Meisler’s Art Gallery as a modeling sculptor, from 1999 to 2016. Today he expresses himself through a variety of mediums such as oil paintings, sculptures and jewelry.
